I discovered yoga and breathwork in 2015 while backpacking in Southeast Asia. My first yoga teacher training in Rishikesh (200 hrs) focused mainly on Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga and also included daily pranayama (breathing practices), meditation and other traditional techniques. After my first training in 2015, I started practising and teaching regularly. I taught in workplaces, small groups, and in places where I travelled and stayed for longer periods. In 2017, I returned to India, Rishikesh, for a 300-hour training, where I deepened my knowledge of anatomy, alignment, yoga therapy, philosophy and teaching methods.Over the years, I have taught in different countries, including Spain (Las Palmas), Mexico (Baja California), and Estonia, where I also opened a small yoga studio. I have taught group classes, workplace sessions, retreats and private one-to-one lessons.***
In private sessions I look at the whole person — lifestyle, goals, health questions, energy levels and what kind of practice would truly support you.To clarify, breathwork—most often Ujjayi breathing—is always part of yoga practice and acts as an anchor. It helps create rhythm, awareness and steadiness. Without it, yoga can easily become just another form of exercise. There are also separate pranayama practices — different breathing techniques with different effects. Some increase energy, some improve focus and others help calm the body and mind. Many of these can be practised alone, but they can also be powerful and are often better explored with guidance. For me, yoga is not a workout or a hobby. It is part of everyday life. Flexibility is only a small part of yoga. Regular practice can support circulation, digestion, posture, energy and help regulate the nervous system. Even a few conscious movements a day can start to change how we feel.My approach is personal, intuitive and grounded. It is a non-judgemental space to slow down, reflect and understand what you need.
If my approach resonates with you, you are welcome to join me for a class (if available), book private session or invite me to guide a workshop/session for your group.
